Poss' buttermilk biscuits looked delicious. I made buttermilk pancakes with the left over buttermilk. We had them with the butter, blueberry syrup and peanut butter that Chuckbert made.
Close up of light fixture. There is one on each side of garge door.
Daytime picture of the lights on either side of garage.
Above picture is taken with a flash so you can see the lights at night.
This last picture is without a flash and shows how the lights actually look at night. I really like how they cast shadows.
I really like how these light look, both in the daytime and at night. I bought a timer light switch for Chuckbert - because he likes gadgets - so the lights come on at dusk and turn off around midnight. And we can also turn them on and off whenever we want.
The house is now Copper Kettle with Squash accents on the wood trim and Indian Turquoise on the eaves. A second coat still needs to be done on the fascia and they are hoping the paint for that comes in tomorrow so they can finish.
They started painting the eaves and fascia today, but ran out of paint so they weren't able to finish. The color is Indian turquoise.
We do have a little ooops - the trim around the garage door isn't suppose to be Indian turquoise. You'll have to wait to see the color we selected for all the wood trim below the eaves.
Since I'm obsessed with never having to paint the eaves again we went with TEX COTE Coolwall exterior coating. It's not suppose to chip, flake or peel and has exceptional fade resistance. It also reflects heat from the sun, to help keep us cool in the summer. And the warranty is for as long as we own the home. With the new paint and full insulation in the walls, ceiling and under the floors we should be comfortable all summer and winter. And hopefully not need to run the heater and air conditioner very much.
Luckily Chuckbert came home for lunch and noticed they missed filling two holes and the insulators were already packed up and ready to leave. They had to unpack their hoses so they could finish the job.
